Concept Tagging

AlchemyAPI is capable of automatically tagging your HTML, text, or web-based content. We employ sophisticated natural language processing technology to analyze your data, tagging your information in a manner very similar to human-based tagging. AlchemyAPI's Concept Tagging API is capable of abstraction, understanding how concepts relate and tagging accordingly ("Hillary Clinton + Michelle Obama + Laura Bush" == "First Ladies of the United States").

API endpoints are provided for performing concept tagging on Internet-accessible URLs and posted HTML files or text content.

Extracted meta-data may be returned in XML, JSON, RDF, and Microformats rel-tag formats. More information on API response formats is available here.
